This has been boiling for around 3 weeks, finally found some time to get it out.

So I'm kinda upset this Halloween, not because I'm not in the spirit. But because Halloween is supposed to be fun when you hang out with your friends, but when you're not allowed to hang out with your friends, it sucks.

Now here's why. My mom, in all her "I feel as if I need to protect my son from dangers that don't exist" moods, a few weeks ago OPENS AND CHECKS MY CELL PHONE TEXT MESSAGES.

So me and a friend was talking about her Birthday party in the messages, which takes place on Halloween. Well in the messages, she said that no one at the party would drink, do drugs, or have sex. Well the "have sex" part carried over in the text preview, so my mom apparently looked at it, as well as many other messages, but conveniently missed the part where it said we're NOT going to do it. So here's what she did, instead of confronting me about it, she just went ahead and said "I'm not gonna listen to any excuse you may or may not have, you're not going to that party and it is final."

Now what the fuck could I say to that? I couldn't say anything. Fast forward to today, and I got a message on Facebook from my friend. "Please come to my party there's only 3 people going". Now take into account, I'm her best friend. The three people going were some shy guy, a gay guy, and a slutty girl. We weren't going to do anything, there was going to be parental supervision. SERIOUSLY. So after I said no, because I didn't want my mom jumping down my throat she said "K, now I'm gonna go cry. Thanks."

What the fuck could I say to that. My parents are being jerkfaces. If they were going to snoop on me, they could AT LEAST get their facts straight. I mean seriously, I didn't do anything wrong, my parents are "protecting" me from NOTHING, and I cannot do anything.

Thus, Halloween is Hallowhell. Bang, rant over. I still don't feel good about myself because not only did my mom upset me, she upset my BEST friend. And I can't even do anything because she's so stuck up her girlfriend's ass she can't HEAR ME AT ALL.
